Paintings and frescoes, finished wall-mounted frescoes

All frescoes manufactured by Applico are coated with a special protective lacquer. No additional protective coating is required!

«Ceramo» frescoes — New!

«Ceramo» — the matte material with scattering of the small, surface, accurately outlined cracks. The facilitated material is similar to the ceramics which has fissured with time.
The material thickness is up to 1 mm. This type of frescoes is used for interior only.

«Ceramo Gold» frescoes — New!

«Ceramo Gold» — the matte material with golden shine inside ceramic cracks.
The material thickness is up to 1 mm. This type of frescoes is used for interior only.

«Ceramo Brilliant» frescoes — New!

«Ceramo Brilliant» — the matte material with diamond shine inside ceramic cracks.
The material thickness is up to 1 mm. This type of frescoes is used for interior only.

«Quartz» frescoes — New!

«Quartz» is the dense, matte layer of velvety-sandy plaster. The material reminds a surface of quartz sand.
The material thickness is up to 1.5 mm. This type of material is for interior design and for facades. The interior frescoes are Vlies-based. Facade frescoes are made with synthetic base.

«Cracks» frescoes

«Cracks» frescoes are made of thick textured material with natural crack scattered on the surface and a colored image.
The frescoes are artificially aged (by manual partial rubbing with a special sandy compound for revealing the cracks).
Three aging degrees can be selected based on the customer order:
— Without aging
— Normal aging
— Intense aging
The material thickness is 1-2 mm. This type of frescoes is used for interior only.

«Cracks Gold» frescoes

«Gold» means exquisiteness, wealth and individuality.

The new texture type combines opalescent gold shine, spilled over the fresco with discernable relief of deep cracks scattered over the surface.

«Cracks Brilliant» frescoes

«Brilliant» is a noble glow and intensity.

Shining like a sheikh’s treasures which can be seen through the naturally looking cracks combined with a fresco theme — this is a «brilliant» feature of your interior design.

«Sand» frescoes

The «Sand» frescoes are made with firm textured material with several layers of sand plaster and colored image.
These frescoes are visually attractive due to their textured surface. Velvety-sandy opaque texture with noble aging gives a feeling of real paining taken from an ancient wall and rolled into a tube.
Frescoes are artificially aged. The upper layer with paint is partially removed thus revealing the beauty of texture. The material is 1-2 mm thick.
This type of material is for interior design and for facades. The interior frescoes are Vlies-based. Facade frescoes are made with synthetic base.

«Breeze» frescoes

«Breeze» frescoes have heterogeneous sandy material, in some places more textured and in some places less textured, with opaque glowing.
Reflecting surface with heterogeneous texture creates opaque and glossy areas making these frescoes visually attractive.
This material is rather light and can be easily applied to the ceiling. The frescoes of this type are manufactured without artificial aging.
The material thickness is up to 1.5 mm.
This type of frescoes is used only for interior design. They are Vlies-based.

Finished frescoes and wall-mounted frescoes will perfectly fit your interior design

Professional fresco painting performed by our designers is a unique process.

Applico company offers finished frescoes and wall-mounted frescoes manufactured according to the most contemporary technologies of transferring image to a surface. Finished frescoes and wall-mounted frescoes are beautiful, will perfectly fit your apartment interior and will become an elegant decoration of your home.

Wall-mounted frescoes and finished frescoes production has several stages which will be described in more details.

Finished frescoes and wall-mounted frescoes (fresco painting) — the first production stage.

During the first stage of painting of the fresco, the painter applies a yielding composition (different for each kind of fresco) to the specially treated base with fibrous structure. This provides canvas surface that can be changed depending on the applied design and image.

Painting of a fresco (finished frescoes and wall-mounted frescoes) — the second production stage.

During the second stage, the color emulsion is applied to the prepared surface. After this a fresco is placed between two devices (for example, a duplicator).

The painter prepares the frescoes for pressing by selecting correct writing resolution and frequently-modulated screening.

At the end of this process the almost finished fresco is placed to a special chamber for drying by pressing with the cementing process.

Final fresco painting, the last production stage

On this stage a painter performs manual fragmentary painting of the fresco with a brush. After that a sandy compound is applied with a special instrument for rubbing the surface. Then the fresco is covered with lacquer and reinforcing compounds.

Due to their durability, the finished frescoes and wall-mountable frescoes produced by Applico will delight you and your significant others for many years. Wall-mountable frescoes are in fashion again. While in the past they served as decoration only for temples and palaces, now everyone can afford to have wall-mounted frescoes.
