Applico frescoes

Applico frescoes are manufactured in compliance with the unique patented technology developed by our specialists. The products are based on Vlies or fibre-glass material. The frescoes are available in 5 different texture types. The image can be selected from our catalogue, provided by a customer or developed by our designers according to your requirements.

9 types of available frescoes types:

CERAMO — the facilitated material with the natural ceramic cracks scattered on the surface. — New!
CERAMO GOLD — the matte material with golden shine inside ceramic cracks. — New!
CERAMO BRILLIANT — the matte material with diamond shine inside ceramic cracks. — New!
QUARTZ — Quartz is the dense, matte layer of velvety-sandy plaster. The material reminds a surface of quartz sand. — New!
CRACKS — thick texturized material with heterogeneous natural cracks scattered on the surface.
SAND — velvety-sandy opaque and clearly visible texture composed of several layers, with noble aging; it gives a feeling of real painting on an ancient wall.
CRACKS GOLD — texturized surface with gold glowing inside cracks.
CRACKS BRILLIANT — texturized surface with brilliant glowing inside cracks.
BREEZE — heterogeneous sandy material with half-opaque glowing, can be easily mounted on a ceiling.

Artificially aged frescoes

To achieve the effect of noble painting on a plaster aged by time, our painters can manually create three different aging grades for either SAND or CRACKS type of frescoes:

Moderate
Medium
Maximum

The frescoes are divided into interior and exterior ones. Interior frescoes are used only inside of the buildings. Exterior frescoes are suitable for facades of a building as well inside the building, in locations with high humidity level.

Interior Vlies-based frescoes are designed for mounting on a wall or ceiling. The range of texture types includes CRACKS, SAND, CRACKS GOLD, CRACKS BRILLIANT, BREEZE, CERAMO, CERAMO GOLD, CERAMO BRILLIANT and QUARTZ. The maximum size of the single canvas for interior frescoes: 900 cm wide and up to 260 cm high.
Exterior frescoes — fibre-glass based, the available texture type is SAND and QUARTZ only. The maximum size of the single canvas for interior frescoes: 600 cm wide and up to 260 cm high.
A fresco exceeding the above mentioned size parameters will consist of several canvases which are connected by overlapping according to the provided mounting instructions. The frescoes thickness does not exceed 1,5 mm.
A fresco is supplied in a special protective package — cardboard tube, mounting instructions included.
The main production stages are manual: applying a textured plaster to the canvas, fresco aging, minor painting, lacquering, etc.
The aging grade can be maximum, medium or moderate as selected by a customer.

All products from Applico are patented, certified and manufactured according to TOR 5772-001-63685482-2009.
